These publications outline the basic steps to follow in applying for and receiving ETP funds.
An ETP Analyst will be assigned to assist you in the development and administration of your ETP Contract. The Analyst will provide you with a copy of the Guide during the first scheduled site visit. There is a Single Employer Guide and a Multiple Employer Guide (MEC). Each Guide is separated into two parts:
- Part 1, Contract Development, is divided into 8 Sections for the Single Employer and 9 Sections for the MEC. These Sections contain an overview of the documentation required to successfully apply for funding. This part is designed to provide prospective Contractors with assistance in the development of an Employment Training Panel (ETP) Contract from the first ETP visit to your facility through the approval of your Contract by the Panel. These sections provide the directions for completing the Application template. The Application template is the last Section in Part 1.
- Part 2, Contract Administration, is divided into 5 Sections. These Sections are designed to assist you in the administration of your training project once the Contract has been approved by the Panel. An ETP Analyst will be assigned to provide on-going technical assistance to ensure you are in compliance with the Contract requirements. Part 2 provides an overview of ETP's monitoring processes; the administration and training documentation requirements; directions on how to utilize ETP's online enrollment and tracking systems via the internet; information on amendments and modifications; and ETP's Appeal process. The Contractor's Guide is an Adobe PDF document and is broken down into sections. When you are in the file, you are able to print the entire document, or only those pages you want, and search for a word or phrase. The Single Employer and Multiple Employer Application Templates are available in a Word format below each Guide via the Internet. To print one page or the entire document, click on the Printer on the Button Bar. When the next screen opens and under Print Range, you are able print All or click on Pages from __ to page __; fill in the page numbers you want to print; and click the OK button at the bottom of the screen. Be sure to print the Single Employer Guide if you are a company applying for an ETP Contract and the Multiple Employer Guide if you are a Training Agency. To utilize the Search feature, first click on Edit in the tool bar and then Search. Once the Search screen opens, enter the word or phrase you are looking for and click on Search. When the program completes its search, under PDA Search, you will see Finished Searching for; Total Instances Found; and the Results. If you click on the items in this box, it lists the page the word or phrase can be found. If you double click on the icon, the page will appear on the left side of the screen. If you need additional assistance, please contact your Analyst or click on Help on the tool bar.
