Greg Campbell

Speaker of Assembly Appointee

Greg Campbell is Director of Special Projects for Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez. Mr. Campbell has served in the Speaker's Office since 2002 and in the Legislature since 1996, where he has worked for several members, including two Assembly Speakers.

During his tenure with the Legislature, Mr. Campbell has focused on labor and workforce development issues and public employee retirement. He has been instrumental in negotiating agreements on workers compensation reform, recent minimum wage increases, and health care reform.

Mr. Campbell graduated from the University of California, Davis, with degrees in Political Science and Rhetoric and Communications. He and his wife Janell, a public school teacher, have been married four years and have a two-year old son, Sean.
