2009-10 Budget Updates

ETP's budget appropriation for FY 2009/10 is now proposed for substantial reduction based on action taken by the Joint Legislative Conference Committee the week of 6/15. The funding reduction is now in legislation to revise the existing Budget Act for FY 2009/10. The legislation is intended to address the continuing state budget deficit and must yet be approved by both houses of the California Legislature and signed by Governor.

This budget uncertainty made it necessary to cancel the June and July meetings of the Panel and now makes it necessary for ETP to delay further development activity on new training proposals for funding.

Please be assured, however, that we will inform you on this website when the level of ETP funding for new projects in 2009/10 is definite.
